You may know that I love painting pears. The way the light wraps around their unique shape. I love it. I thought this one especially interested on its side.
Nice reflective light in your shadows. Subtle, but strong.
You seem to achieve realistic textures with great ease. Immensely enjoyed your works, will keep checking in!
WOW. You have a new fan; wonderful paintings - love your brushwork and colors. I studied EVERY picture and painting, and look forward to seeing more!BTW, a most beautiful baby! Congrats! E
I like the drama here. I think it does indeed create interest, and kind of have a narrative when the pear is on its side. Nice work, great subtle highlights.
I do like to see you paint pears. I have loved everyone of them. Do you think pears are interesting to paint because they have such a humanly (a word?) shape?
I see that most of your paintings has the "round" topic to it. I'm not a professional painter but I've been meaning to be one. Unsuccessful though.. :(Anyway, does this blog make you money?
