"Calalily"

Oil on Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a group of beautiful Calalilies. I had to buy them. I've said this before, I'm not much of a floral painter, but I wanted to capture the luminosity of this flower. Not too bad I think.

Just beautiful, I think "not to bad" is an understatement.

I have been watching your blog and admiring your work for awhile...They are all so good with such clean color and wonderful brushwork. I had to comment (finally) and let you know how great your work is. I added you to my list of blogs to visit. Also, I have just tagged you if you want to play come to my blog and see how its done. If you pass on that part it's okay too!

Mike - I really love this, but I am partial to single flowers. I love the softness you gave this painting; it really conducts emotion. claudia
