Oil on 1/8" Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD
Another one of the calendar commissions. From what I am told, this is a typical breakfast or morning snack in Turkey. Comparable to the coffee and donut that I am used to. I think I have two more of these to post. On some other news, I was chosen to be in the FAV15% in the FineArtViews Painting Competition for the painting "Tomato Pedestal".

Michael, Your paintings are just awesome and its so nice to see you get rewarded or your hard work.
You are an inspiration to me and many others I'm sure.
I'd love to know more about your palette, brush choices etc. - but you may want to keep your secrets.
:)

Congratulations! Well deserved!!
This is an interesting painting. Your composition is great and I love the coffee's reflection on the cloth. The spoon in the coffee is beautifully rendered. Amazing!
Nice dichotomy of relaxed looking brushwork and a convincing level of realism. I like it.
Congrats on the FAV15%. Is the tomato painting on here somewhere? I'll look.
Congrats on your 15% ranking... That's REALLY great --- especially since so many enter.
Your work is always wonderful Michael!! (Glad I own a few.)
Congrats on being included in the painting competition, Mike!
This latest calendar commission is awesome!
Once again, every corner has something interesting to look at.
The shadowed doughnuts, the bright orange bag, the glass of tea(?) resting on the metallic coaster.
You nailed the the refelctions on the glass. From the way the spoon "bends" and blurs to the warm honey-colored light passing through onto the counter.
Really impressive job on this one!
