Electric Highway

Oil on 3/8" Board. Approx 8"x8" SOLD

Here is this month's challenge painting. It was my turn to choose the subject and I chose "view from your studio". My studio is on the second floor of our house and faces the back yard, which is where this utility pole sits. The wires to the left are the ones going to my house...in case you were interested.

Thanks for picking our Challenge subject for this month, Michael! I love seeing your view, and all the others too. Each one says something special, I think.

Yours reminds me how much we all depend on electricity in our daily lives, especially if one paints at night!

It is rather interesting for me to read that blog. Thanx for it. I like such topics and everything connected to them. I definitely want to read a bit more soon.

Beautiful work, Michael, glad to be on daily painters with you! My uncle lives in Wheaton, such a lovely place.

I love the concept of painting a "view from your studio".

Very unique idea!
