Water Tower

Oil on 1/8" Gessoboard. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

I took this snap shot on one of our road trips to Tennessee. I think I spent more time on the background then on the water tower itself. I tried to keep the trees simple but detailed enough to not be recognizable.

Nice. I love the light on the tower -- it's just right!

The background is devine: there is a wonderful chunkiness about it that I find appealing and as Katherine said the shaping of the tower is great. r.

Very nice, I've seen several of these water towers in TN/KY and love them all.

It is again a testament to your ability that you can make something so mundane look so majestic.
