Oh my gosh! The light depicted in this painting is amazing! I would love to commission you to paint my sons shoes ... but tennis shoes in a size 14 wouldn't be the same! Seriously though, you are incredibly talented. Great job.

You have such a command of colors, and you've nailed the light reflections in this one. Of course the subject is cute, but again your composition makes the painting. You've managed to portray shyness and uncertainty.

I thought your past Mary Janes painting was great until I saw this one. This one just knocks the old "Mary Janes" socks off (no pun intended).

These pink Mary Janes wish I were a little girl so I could wear these! (OMG......revealing too much! LOL).

In all seriousness, this one just floored me.

The composition is solid.

The shadows of the shoes keep the muted green background interesting, which is always important.

And the intense pink/coral color just rules! I love the glossy feel on their tips.

Looking over most of your past work on this entire blog, I have to say that "Pink Mary Janes" is one of your strongest pieces yet IMHO.

This should be one of the prominent paintings featured on your website.

Just an excellent job all around!! Be really proud of this one, Mike!
