Oil on Board. Approx 8"x8" SOLD
This is a my dog...one of them actually. This little guy will melt in your arms. He will fall asleep upside down while your holding him. He's a cutie. BUT not nearly as cute as my newborn Lucy. She takes the cake.
Great painting! And, congratulations on your new daughter. Why don't you paint her portrait?
I agree... paint her before she's more of a 'moving target'! (see Sorolla's 'Mother' - you can do it!). I just stumbled on your blog, though I think I maybe saw it a year ago. You do fabulous work - Im going to forward your blog around, if you don't mind! And congratulations on Lucy - enjoy her....
Nice mood. What is his name? My brother and his wife has a Daschund, but she is the complete opposite, she is the devil incarnate.
oh dear, I thought Lucy was a puppy :( Congrats anyway ;)This is a beautiful doggie portrait. Really caught my eye.Love your work.
Wow! You do great work. I love the still life's. I am a fellow daily painter and I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a link exchange. Mu blog is: austinmaloney.comMy email is"firstname.lastname@example.org
I love this dog portrait. Nice idea to try a profile also. Can't wait to see how you paint Lucy!
Dachshunds are my all time favourite dog! I have a female miniature black and tan (smooth coat). Lovely painting!
One of my best friends forwarded your site to me this morning. What beautiful work! Being the "parent" of 2 mini dachshunds, I was drawn to this painting. One of our "girls" was blessed with eyes the color of light blue crystals with edges rimmed in baltic blue. If I can figure out how to forward a photo of her, as an artist, you'd love the coloration. Again, wonderful work!
Just found your site today, thanks to a forward from my daughter. You do fantastic work and so versatile! So, not only do I love your work, but now I see you're a fellow dachshund owner. I have two mini reds that are the light of our family's life. Keep up your great work, and I'll be checking it daily from here on out.
Wonderful painting. Reminds me of one of my dachshunds, he was called Brandy. Would have loved to of bought that painting.
