"Intimidated Cherry"

Oil on 1/4" Board. Approx 6"x4.875" SOLD

As simple as it is, I love how this cherry turned out. It feels like it has so much dimension and that's where I wanted the focus. You can't pass up the intense red color either.

Two simple items tell such a story. As an artist it reminds us that sometimes the simple things can have such beauty when done well and you do it so well. Pat Meyer Fine Art

Michael, this painting is beautiful. Expertly painted - the brushwork and edges are wonderful. I especially love the way you have painted the blade of the knife and how you have described the slightly jagged, worn metal edge. Brilliant. Neil.
