"Tomatoes"

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Oil on 1/8" Masonite, 6"x6". SOLD.

This painting was one of those that just felt good. I got lost in it and before I knew it I was done. The paint seemed to flow better and the color subtlties are more than usual. This is post number 155 in my Daily Painting blog.

Hey Michael, I've been MIA for a while but glad I checked in to see what you are up to, These last three were new to my eyes and they blew me away. This last one with the tomatoes is packed with color and some brave brush work. Awesome as usual. You've inspired me to paint a tomatoe...one with the leafy stem still attached, very cool.

Be good,
Todd

Hey everyone, thanks for the comments.

Todd, I love the fruit with leaves still attached. I just don't know where to get them. I guess I shop at the wrong store.

Wonderful brushwork, color and composition. A great piece of art with humble subject matter. Well done!
