Here is the next challenge painting. This time it was my turn to choose the subject. I wanted to pick something I haven't painting in years...self portrait. I picked a pose that didn't show my receding hair line.
ok can anyone join in, in this self portrait painting?
ReplyDeleteGreat angle and portrait and your comment made me laugh....:))r.
ReplyDeleteFantastic job!
ReplyDeleteWow, all of these portraits are good. You have a very talented group. (I'm with Maureen... is it a closed group?)
ReplyDeleteMike, your self-portrait is very evocative and wonderfully original in concept. As always, I'm wild about your brush work and colors. Really a terrific response to our challenge. Thank you for coming up with this subject. I think it made us all reach inside our creative selves more than usual.
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait and I love the unique perspective.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the nice comments. To Maureen and Shirley, i think our group is capped right now but you may contact Diana Moses-Botkin about possibly joining. She is the group's creator.

ReplyDeleteThe unique angle and contrasting colors are what make this self-portrait shine!
I hear ya about the receding hairline. I think mine's starting to go too! But I'm still in the denial stage. (^_^)
