This darn utility pole again. I love it tough. I could walk out into my backyard any day of the week and see this in a new way each time. This time I caught a bird perfectly perched on the wire.
The geometric lines created by the intersecting wires are so interesting. I love the brushwork in the clouds and the way they obscure the wires here and there. Very cool!
fantastic painting. The other day I listen to an BBC interview with the great british painter Frank Auerbach, he is already since 40 years doing a drawing of the same chimney in Camden Town London, every day..... so you are not alone
by now many of us love this utility pole. thank you for sharing!
