Triple Yolks

Oil on 1/8" Gessoboard. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

My wife was baking in the kitchen and I jumped in for a second to shot this photo with my phone. Not the most ideal reference but a great challenge to create a painting from.

Wowee wow wow. Another stunner. (What is it about eggs that is so compelling?)

I love all your work and love keeping track of your blog...just wanted to let you know though that your blog takes a long time to load up due to all the posts on the main page...have you ever given it any thought about archiving your work to other pages.....just a thought

I like the overhead "kitchen" lighting. That's not something you see much in still lifes.

Mike!

I love the casual feel of this painting. I could totally see someone baking from looking at this shot.

Great highlights on the eggs and the part of the bowl just near the egg carton.

By the way, what did your wife end up baking?
