Michael, This piece is so unique for your blog yet it feels very good. You created a loose softness in the foreground, and I love the litle bit of red that pulls the eye from the foreground toward the midground and directs me toward the line of the center mountain peak and beyond. I feel like I've traveled through this space. Your color pallete for this piece is very full too!
Hey, Michael... I love these "different" pieces... I'm sure you could paint ANYTHING beautifully, and I've become used to the gorgeous still lifes and portraits... Now we'll all expect IT ALL!! (LOL)
I just wanted to let you know how much I like your blog. Your work is very interesting.
