Bakery Prep

Oil on 1/8" Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

This was a challenging painting but I tried to keep the expressiveness in the brush strokes. It was also a challenge to get the egg yolk to stay in the center of the flour. I don't really know my way around the kitchen so I was out of my element setting this one up.

I would say you've expanded your comfort level into a new element, Michael! This is GREAT! I'm enjoying the depth and the range of colors and their contrast with the background and work surface. A real winner!

I cannot believe that this is only 6 x 6 inches... you have so much detail in there.

I love the way the egg yolk is singing "ooh-wah, ooh-wah, hallelujah" and glowing.

Mike!

Your really went all out on this one!

What an elaborate still life! Nice how it tells a story.

I absolutely LOVE the oranges and the grays together. I never knew those colors looked so good together until now!

Just great!

The gray in this is wonderful - it really sets off the rest of the painting. What a great job!
