I can't believe another month has gone by. Here is the next challenge painting. The subject this time was pantry shelves and/or cabinets. I sat at my kitchen table to paint this corner of my kitchen that I am most familiar with...the corner with the coffee maker.Below are the others'.

I love the quiet, calm mood your painting portrays. Everything is clean, orderly and at peace in this scene. I guess the children were sleeping.

Oh, you have a sweet old midwestern kitchen! It's a wonderful painting and it makes me homesick. (I have a funky, busy, old New England hippie farmhouse kitchen, but I grew up with one like yours, in Iowa.
