Three Palms

Oil on 1/8" Gessoboard Approx 6"x6" SOLD

Another shot from LA. I don't get to see many palm trees. Maybe every few of years or so. To me, they are a mysterious tree. So thin and tall yet so strong. They sway like crazy without breaking. And are a pleasure to paint with their expressiveness.

I too am captivated by these trees and coastal scenes...have trouble capturing the feel...however, YOU did it perfectly!

I love this painting. The palm trees are well done, you can almost feel the wind in your hair!

Michael, it looks like your paint palm trees all the time! Just enough detail, but loose and confident strokes. Love it!
