Great angle and portrait and your comment made me laugh....:))r.
Fantastic job!
Wow, all of these portraits are good. You have a very talented group. (I'm with Maureen... is it a closed group?)
Mike, your self-portrait is very evocative and wonderfully original in concept. As always, I'm wild about your brush work and colors. Really a terrific response to our challenge. Thank you for coming up with this subject. I think it made us all reach inside our creative selves more than usual.
Great portrait and I love the unique perspective.
Thanks for all the nice comments. To Maureen and Shirley, i think our group is capped right now but you may contact Diana Moses-Botkin about possibly joining. She is the group's creator.
The composition is compelling. What where you thinking in this self portrait. PatMeyerdailypainter.blogspot.com
Mike your painting is truly magnificent. Few colors yet so complex. Love it!
Wonderful blog!!!
You chose a challenging angle (right up the nose, as it were). Nicely done though! These are all great.
Great close-up, Mike!
The unique angle and contrasting colors are what make this self-portrait shine!
I hear ya about the receding hairline. I think mine's starting to go too! But I'm still in the denial stage. (^_^)
