Single Strawberry

Oil on 1/8" Gessoboard. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

Simple but detailed today. I really enjoyed painting this strawberry. From the reflected light to those very specific highlights.

Beautiful job, Michael. I really like the contrast of the detail on the fruit with the simplicity of the drape.

Good thing we didn't eat this one with dinner last night, one of my favorites!! How about a repaint for your ol' wife. :0D

Simply elegant! Love that warm light and the loose brush strokes in the shadow.

Beautiful Michael! Something tells me this was consumed shortly after the masterpiece was complete. : ) My uncle lives in Wheaton and it is a great community. Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

Mike!

Elegant, simple, almost photorealistic yet still painterly.

Love it!
