This was new territory for me. Typically I paint a "closed in" composition that's is set up if front of me. This one, however, has more a scene going on with more to look at. It was a pleasure to paint. I love the antique feeling to the whole piece.

This is very different for you but I like it very much. It is always nice to go ourside your comfort zone.
