Oil on 1/4" Board. Approx 6"x6"
I think I was about due for a cracked egg painting. The last one I did was a year ago. This is only the second time I painted brown eggs but I think they are my favorite. So much more character in them.
ALSO, correction to yesterday's post where I mentioned an opening at the Elliot Fouts Gallery. The correct date of the opening is next Saturday, August 14th. I hope some of you can make it!
impressive! (as usual ^^)
Gorgeous! Love the texture!!!
Love your work! These eggs are amazing. I think the brown ones have more character too!
Fantastic job on the subtle, jagged edges of the cracked shells.
Lots of little details in this one.
I love the color of the brown eggs too. I'd like to paint one of my wall that color now!
Nice close-up composition with the full carton coming at the viewer on a diagonal.
Another strong painting from you!
Your work is always so amazing, Michael!!
Your paintings are fabulous. May I ask where you got those great frames on the last couple of your painting?
NIce! Love it! We have a new blog at our school in Philadelphia if you want to check it out its www.studioincamminati.blogspot.com.
