Preserves

Oil on 3/8" Board. Approx 8"x8" SOLD

I bought this jar of preserves specifically to paint. It was more than twice what I would usually pay for such an item...but to paint it, it was worth it. I wanted to play with edges when doing this one. Some of these edges are softer then I normally go and I do like that effect.

Beautiful handling of paint! (And since you painted the jam, you can write it off...)

..all it needs is a fresh croissant

Mike!

I love how the inside of the jar is kind of messy with the jam running down the sides.
