Leaning Avocado

Oil on 1/8" Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

Here is another commission. I love to revisit the avocado theme. I have a larger painting in the works with this subject. I can't wait to get back into a groove of solid painting. It's killing me being away from the studio but I am loving the time with my kids. That's for sure.

I arrived over here from boneman's place. I want you to know that I am a master's degreed practicing artist. I make my living by computer graphics, but fine art is my passion. This is a great find, and I consider your work...dynamite! I am looking forward to seeing more.

Mike!

The first thing I thought when I saw this latest avocade painting was how light and airy it looked.

Normally your still lifes are darker with strong, heavy shadows. This one is much brighter and softer looking.

A nice change....for a change!
