Oil on 1/8" Gessoboard. Approx 6"x6" SOLD
And here is the fortune cookie from that night of chinese take out a while back. Any guesses as to what the fortune says?
I think it says "You will become a great artist who is an inspiration to many others across the world"....oh wait, THAT has already happened!
It says, "Shout and people will ignore you, whisper and they will all strain to hear."
It says, "When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece."
wow love the combo of straight edges and curve of the plate echoing the shape of the cookie! I am so "fortunate" to be able to look at your wonderful work! Excellent!
Very nicely done. Love the red/green contrast.
Preciosas pinturas. Te felicito.Saludos
It said "put me on a red cloth and make a beautiful painting"
Beautiful composition on this one, Mike! All the different cloths resting on top of one another adds a lot of depth.I love the color choices too!The soft tan of the fortune cookies goes so well with the red of the napkin which in turn goes just as well with the gray backdrop.Great shadows, as always, make everything 'pop'.Another winner!-Dean
