"Cherries On Glass"

Oil on 1/8" Gessoboard. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

This is the first time I set something up on a piece of glass. I really like the whole reflections it shows. Not just the implication of a reflection. It was a nice challenge.

  4. Beautiful work. The complimentary colours work well. I am especially interested in how you have "cooled" the reflections.

  7. Beautiful composition, with the perfect color combination. The grey in the reflection is just the right touch for the glass.

  10. Mike!

The reflections were a clever way to fill the empty space of the painting, essentially doubling the amount of cherries on the canvas.

    Lovely!
