"Lime Slice"

Oil on Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

Well here is a new painting. I just got over a cold a couple weeks ago and then came down with a sinus infection that leveled me all last week. I finally went to the doc for antibiotics because I wasn't getting any better. I guess it's the season. Enough germy blabber, I have a few more paintings this week to finish off the month. Stay tuned...

Mini Masterpiece this one! Congratulations, and remember garlic, lemon, chamomile tea and honey fixes everything!

This one is great!

The dramatic lighting makes the lime slice shine....literally! The highlights on the lime's skin appear to glow. Great job with that, Mike!

I love that the light shines through the translucent slice passing the green light onto the surface. Almost like stained glass! Super clever!!

And lastly, I just love that the lime slice is standing up and not resting flat. Much more of a unique composition that way.

Another great little painting!
