Here are the second challenge paintings. The subject was eggplant...any way you like it. I went more traditional as usual but it was my first time paint this subject.

What a beauty. Such a sense of clean white light. Your ability to see colors and put them down simply and honestly is just wonderful.
Nice job! Great choice of background color. I love the reflected light on the bottom and the high light by the stem. Really gives the plant dimension.
