Oil on Board. Approx 20"x20" SOLD
Here is the reason why i didn't post anything last week. It's 20" square and took a bit longer then I thought it would. Now I have to get to work on a commission that has been sitting around way too long. Coming up in early March (which is next week already) I have a couple more of these 20x20's planned.
Wow! that is fabulous, I really like the shadows.
ReplyDeleteIt's therapeutically beautiful Michael. I could look at it for hours.
ReplyDeleteSheila said it "therapeutically" beautiful, have never heard that term. ?! (: Yes, it is! Calm, wonderful neutral colors, balanced composition, just delightful.
ReplyDeleteI really like the light and shadows in this piece...the reflection on the mug is awesome.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the subtle muted tones of this painting, and how you have created a warm glow around the cloth and in the background. Very beautiful and calming... even though the subject matter is FULL of caffeine!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteMichael this is beautifully done. From the subtle color/light shift in the background to the translucency in the napkin- elegant painting.
ReplyDeleteReally great paintings you have here... Love all these! Keep em up!
ReplyDeleteI follow your work, but never commented before. But I have to agree with all above and say this larger piece allows you to do your thing in a great way, pulling it all together. My favorite part is the where the light is filtering through the napkin right next to the cup. Awesome! I just love that deep gray/green in the background that you use so often.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition and the color combination of sand and sea makes it a winner!
