Alright, I have some catching up to do. I haven't had much time to paint lately but should be back on track now. Last Thursday my wife and I had our first baby. 9. "A violet by a mossy stone
    Half hidden from the eye!
Fair as a star, when only one
Is shining in the sky." exerpt from a Poem about Lucy by William Wordsworth

I couldn't decide which to look at; the painting or the baby!

  12. Hi Lucy! Congratulations to the proud parents, she is very sweet.

I like how the brushstrokes feather off the pear too, but Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds rules the post!

  14. She's a beauty all right! Your sweet little Lucy reminds me of our firstborn (who will turn 27 in 2 days!) It doesn't seem that long ago that my husband and I were gazing at her for the first time... studying her graceful little hands, rosebud mouth and tiny perfect feet as soft as silk.

I hope you can spend lots of time with her and enjoy this wonderful gift from a loving Creator. Congratulations a million times over!
