Apple Bottom

Oil on 1/4" Board. Approx 6"x6"

I wanted to do a different take on the apple wrapped in a cloth...so I flipped it upside down. There is just as much interest on the bottom than on the top. Or at least that is what I tried to prove.

Fabulous! I also am trying to complete at least one painting a day. I would love for you to give me some feedback on my work!

You definitely proved your point. This is very interesting on several levels, and the title, along with the white cloth in the still life, makes me wonder if you've been changing a lot of diapers lately.

An interesting take that works really well composition wise, and I love the depth created by the cloth and the deep colours and shading. Great stuff Michael!
