Moon At Dusk

Oil on 1/8" Board. Approx 6"x6"

For purchase info, please email michael@mnaples.com

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I stole some time to do a painting for auction. Next on my list is the last commission for the year. I haven't had too much time to paint lately, so the work I have done was pretty much only on the commissions I've had. Finally down to the last one. Two of those I will be posting in the next few days, but I still have 8 of them in "storage" that I am waiting on approval to post.

I saw this moon last night as I got out of the car and faced the chill of the Austin night air. I paused in my driveway for just a moment, wishing I could forget about everything to watch and paint it. Then the sound of my children's voices murmured low from inside as my husband put on the pasta and life pulled at me. Those people that I love so much inside that door needed me and I left my moon. Luckily, someone else saw it too and painted it for me!
