"Wrapped in Red"

Oil on Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

This composition just kind of happened. I love how the green apple stands out from the red fabric.

This painting is outstanding, Michael! It's so alive and vibrant. Being a father obviously has energized and inspired you.

The colors are wonderful. Love the contrasts - your red jumps out, green is subtle.

I'm crazy about it too. It just reached out and grabbed me. So rich! Fantastic!

I have to say, I think this is one of the most beautiful paintings of fruit that I have seen in all the blogs. It is elegant, vibrant, the color is mesmerizingly beautiful, and the simplicity of the composition, which is what makes the piece, is an inspiration.
Beautiful!!
