"Portait of Boy"

Here is the second of the 2 portraits. It was kind of nice to take a break from the brush and pick up the pencil again. I didn't realize how much I missed using graphite and the intentional cross-hatched layering to give such a smooth tone.

Previous Daily Painting from February 27, 2007. This painting was entered in a Naperville Art League competition. Some of you had asked how the painting did and I am proud to say it won Honorable Mention. I didn't want to put it up for auction until after the show ended and now is that time.

"Sushi"

"Lemon Lime Battle"
